Abstrakt:
After the 1st World War the Old Believers community in Poland become a cultural and language island. The Old Believers lived in isolation from outer world and had a strong feeling of group identity. However, due to civilisational and socio-economical changes, their situation has changed. The changes are extremely visible in the young generation. The article is an attmept to show the differences between young Old Believers’ situation and identity in the 1950s-1980s and nowadays.
