dc.description.abstract Geography is a subject in which the teacher is obliged to provide to his students with wide knowledge and a certain set of skills. The amount and variety of information makes it challenging to deliver. For some teachers it is convenient to limit themselves and to only lead lessons in the sterile environment of the classroom. As this research shows, it is easier to absorb knowledge when students are an active part of a teaching process and it is part of their own experience
