dc.description.abstract	The article presents different profiles of the artist, described in lyric poetry by Jacek Kaczmarski. The analysis includes relations this poetry to Romantic tradition, to European art, history, and culture; and its references to poetic programmes of individual authors. The main content of this article concerns the poetic presentations such artists as Ovid, Bosch, Kochanowski, Słowacki, Norwid, Witkacy, Baczyński, Dylan.
