Abstract
The objective of this research is to investigate the feasibility of using open source content management tools for the digital curation and dissemination of knowledge about museum collections. The paper shows the potential of digital humanities and new technologies, created for cultural institutions in terms of digital curation, implementation of innovation and support for research and education.
