„Alma Mater Vilnensis” (1922–1935) – źródło do dziejów życia uniwersyteckiego

Abstract

The article concerns one of the journals published by students of the Stefan Batory University in the interwar period. It describes its foundation, editors and co-workers, as well as issues discussed in the journal. Although the journal “Alma Mater Vilnensis” was published during a relatively short period, it played a significant role in describing various areas of the university life in Vilnius. The journal truly depicted the atmosphere of cooperation between professors and students and the impact that both groups had on the non-university environment. Considered as a source for scientific research, this journal may be a guide to the people and events that were part of the university life in Vilnius in the interwar period.

Artykuł ukazuje jedno z czasopism wydawanych przez środowisko studentów Uniwersytetu Stefana Batorego w okresie międzywojennym. Omówiono w nim okoliczności powstania, redakcję i współpracowników oraz problematykę prezentowaną na łamach tego czasopisma. Czasopismo „AMV” chociaż ukazywało się stosunkowo krótko odegrało niemałą rolę w odzwierciedleniu ówczesnego życia uniwersyteckiego Wilna w jego różnych obszarach. Na kartach tego pisma doskonale została oddana atmosfera współpracy profesorów i studentów oraz odziaływanie obu tych grup na środowisko pozauniwersyteckie. Czasopismo to traktowane jako źródło w badaniach naukowych może być pewnego rodzaju przewodnikiem ukazującym osoby i wydarzenia życia uniwersyteckiego w Wilnie w latach międzywojennych.
