dc.description.abstract The bond-graph description of transport processes was applied to analyse all the phenomena related to the sorption of free electrolytes into the internal solution of a polymeric cation-exchange membrane (no cation exchange reaction in the system). The kinetic constants for Nafion 120 and KNO3 solution were determined.
