dc.description.abstract |
Benedict XVI points to the excess of protective state as well as alienation of its aid structures, which concentrate on themselves rather than those they are supposed to provide with assistance. According to the Pope, what is needed is not “paternal care” of the state but help of the “indirect bodies”. The advantage of their use is action flexibility as well as ability to adapt to changing social life situations. Apart from great social projects carried out by the state, “mini-projects” conducted by social organizations are also indispensable. Their subsidarital assistance can lead weakened social subjects to autonomy. |
