Abstract

Katalog towarzyszy wystawie indywidualnej rzeźby pt. "Kolekcja" Alicji Majewskiej. zaprezentowanej w Galerii "Wieży Ciśnień" w Koninie w 2017 r.. Artystka przedstawiła wybór prac z ostatnich 10 lat . Ten wycinek jej twórczości to przede wszystkim realizacje w betonie, metalach oraz technice własnej. Rzeźbiarka od lat zajmuje się zagadnieniem pamięci oraz związanych z nią procesów wspomnienia i rekonstrukcji ( cykl betonowy, woskowa kolekcja) i tym razem zobaczymy nowe prace związane z tym tematem.

The individual sculpture exhibition " Collection" by Alicja Majewska, displayed in the Gallery "Wieża Ciśnień" in Konin in 2017, was accompanied by a catalogue. The artist has presented a selection of her art works from the last ten years. This fragment of her artistic activity is mainly art works in concrete, metals and her own technique. For years, the sculptor has been working on the issue of memory and the memory-related processes of memories and reconstruction (concrete series, wax collection) and this time we are going to see her new works referring to the subject.
