Otwarte zasoby edukacyjne – istota i znaczenie

Abstract

Otwarte Zasoby Edukacyjne to wszelkie materiały edukacyjne, dostępne publicznie w Internecie (za pomocą dowolnych technologii informacyjnych i komunikacyjnych), opublikowane wraz z prawem do dalszego wykorzystania (w oparciu o tzw. wolne licencje), i rozwijane w otwarty sposób, tj. przy współudziale beneficjentów w procesie redakcyjnym. Po raz pierwszy na termin ten wskazano w lipcu 2002 r. podczas warsztatów UNESCO (Forum on the Impact of Open Courseware for Higher Education in Developing Countries) związanych z otwartymi programami edukacyjnymi w państwach rozwijających się. Prezentacja przybliża istotę otwartych zasobów, omawia wybrane projekty i najważniejsze publikacje planistyczne dedykowane idei otwartej edukacji.

Open Educational Resources (OER) are educational materials and resources offered freely and openly for anyone to use and under some licenses to remix, improve and redistribute. The term was first adopted at UNESCO's 2002 Forum on the Impact of Open Courseware for Higher Education in Developing Countries. Since 2005 there has been a strong international debate on how to apply OER in practice. The presentation deliberates the concept of open resources, selected projects and the most important publications written and based on assumptions of open education idea.
