Abstract

A reply to the questionnaire on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Teksty Drugie: my personal views on literature, literary studies and other issues of consequence. Literature in a cultural (and cultural studies) perspective as one of the major mechanisms of changing the entire culture or establishing cultural niches within its area communities of individuals for whom specific literary works may be inspiring in the dimension of individual life projects.
