Dlatego studium na temat pastorału jest kluczowe, aby jeszcze lepiej zrozumieć posługiwanie pasterskie biskupa w Kościele. This article deals with the history of the bishop’s crosier as insignia. Crosier as a symbol of episcopal authority needs a specific study. The better one understands the characters, the deeper may enter into the reality of what they signify. Therefore, a study on the pastoral staff is the key for better understanding the pastoral ministry of bishop in the Church.
