| dc.description.abstract | The paper concentrates on SMS texts used in publicity campaigns. The purpose of our research is to determine whether SMS messages have a persuasive or a manipulative function. We analyze both linguistic means used to persuade the receivers into performing certain actions, and the means which might influence their state of mind. The analysis allows us to conclude that what we are facing is not manipulation, but rather a very intensified persuasive action. | pl |
