W cieniu mistrza. Recepcja twórczości Galiny Kuzniecowej w Rosji i w Polsce

Abstract

The article is about Galina Kuznetsova – a Russian writer, poetess and me-morialist. She belongs to a younger generation “the fi rst wave” of Russian emigration. Her place in Russian literature of the 20th century, her image in the study of literature and in popular culture and receive of her writings are been determined by several years’ affair with Ivan Bunin. Kuznetsova is perceived as Bunin’s last love, as his muse and as his student, of course. Her best-known item is The Grasse Diary. It contains her account of those years with Bunin in Grasse. In the article they were discussed the indications of exclusionary and tendentious perception of Kuznetsova’s writings in Russia and Poland.
