Biblioteka UMK w Toruniu w opiniach studentów z dysfunkcjami narządów ruchu i wzroku: badania ankietowe

Abstract

W artykule przedstawiono analizę wyników badań ankietowych, które przeprowadzono wśród niepełnosprawnych studentów Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu w roku akademickim 2005/2006. Celem tych badań była ocena stopnia dostosowania Biblioteki Uniwersyteckiej do możliwości jej niesprawnych ruchowo i wzrokowo użytkowników. W badaniach posłużono się metodą sondażu diagnostycznego i techniką ankietową, w której wykorzystano kwestionariusze anonimowej ankiety. Próbę badawczą stanowiło 20. toruńskich studentów, którzy wyrazili swoje zdanie na temat zdobywania materiałów (książki, czasopisma) potrzebnych do studiowania, barier w dostępie do informacji oraz możliwości korzystania z usług Biblioteki Uniwersyteckiej. Studentów pytano także o dostrzegane przez nich potrzeby udoskonaleń architektonicznych oraz organizacyjnych tej placówki, których wprowadzenie uczyniłoby ją bardziej dostępną dla ludzi z dysfunkcjami.

The article presents an analysis of the results of questionnaire surveys conducted among disabled students of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. The aim of these studies was to assess the degree of adaptation of the University Library to the possibilities of its physically and visually disabled users. The research used the method of a diagnostic survey and a questionnaire technique with an anonymous questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 20. students from Toruń who expressed their views on the acquisition of materials (books, magazines) needed to study, barriers in access to information and the possibility of using the University Library services. Students were also asked about the needs they saw for architectural and organizational improvements, the introduction of which would make it more accessible to people with dysfunctions.
