Cyberstalking jako forma przemocy z wykorzystaniem technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych

Abstract

Celem pracy jest omówienie zjawiska cyberstalkingu, czyli formy prześladowania przy użyciu technologii komunikacyjno-informacyjnych (TIK). W pierwszej kolejności dokonano charakterystyki definicji (cyber)stalkingu oraz typów stalkerów i form prześladowania z wykorzystaniem narzędzi TIK. Następnie opisano okoliczności i cechy sprzyjające rozwojowi (cyber)stalkingu, z uwzględnieniem cech sprawcy i potencjalnej ofiary tego rodzaju przemocy. Następnie scharakteryzowano pokrótce skutki oraz sankcje prawne umożliwiające pociągnięcie sprawcy nękania do odpowiedzialności karnej. Tekst kończą refleksje dotyczące potrzeb edukacyjnych w zakresie identyfikowania i profilaktyki patologii funkcjonowania w świecie nowych technologii.

The aim of the work is to discuss the phenomenon of cyberstalking - forms of persecution using information and communication technologies (ICT). First of all, the definitions of (cyber)stalking and the types of stalkers and forms of persecution with the use of ICT tools were made. Next, the circumstances and traits favorable for the development (cyber)stalking were described, taking into account the characteristics of the perpetrator and the potential victim of this type of violence. Next, the effects and legal sanctions that enable the perpetrator to harass criminal liability were briefly characterized. The text ends with reflections on educational needs in the area of identifying and preventing pathologies in the world of new technologies.
