Abstract:
This article refers to the various forms of lobbying at the level of local government in Poland. It includes the current law and the specific needs of local government in the perspective of cooperation witj interest groups. This aspects are presented in the context of current theories of lobbying. This article also reveals and discuss the complexity of the term „lobbyist” at municipal level and will help to explain who may be the subject of lobbying activities. It will be helpfull to indicate the appropriate recipients of the exact interest representation strategies. An interesting issue to present is the phenomenon of „inter-local government” lobbying which affects the evolutionary concept of the existance of "so called" hierarchy in the specific responsibilities of the structure of local government in Poland.
