Abstract

Theses formulated in the article: 1) Modern pedagogical thought requires self-knowledge. 2) Pedagogical thought is the use of “mind” as an information management tool for education. 3) In this role, pedagogical thought differs from other non-intellectual control factors, such as the pressure of tradition or the preferences of the public. 4) As a form of mental work, pedagogical thought differs from other forms of pedagogical awareness, especially from scientific cognition. 5) The history of pedagogical thought proves that it is constituted by a discourse which involves defining, analysing and resolving dilemmas.

Tezy formułowane w artykule: 1) Współczesna myśl pedagogiczna potrzebuje samowiedzy. 2) Myśl pedagogiczna to wykorzystywanie „umysłu” w funkcji narzędzia informacyjnego kierowania edukacją. 3) W tej roli myśl pedagogiczna różni się od innych, nie-intelektualnych czynników sterowania, takich jak presja tradycji, czy preferencje opinii publicznej. 4) Jako postać pracy umysłowej myśl pedagogiczna różni się od innych form świadomości pedagogicznej, zwłaszcza od poznania naukowego. 5) Dzieje myśli pedagogicznej dowodzą, że konstytuujący ją dyskurs polega na określaniu, analizowaniu oraz rozstrzyganiu dylematów.
