My aim in the present paper is: 1) to offer alternative model formulations of the future of science in the historical philosophy of science; 2) to elucidate relations between fallibilism, scepticism, and dogmatism; 3) to propose a model of the fallibilistic philosophy of science; and 4) to elucidate possible various versions of the progress of science in the fallibilistic model. |
