dc.description.abstract	The article is an attempt to make a comparative analysis of the song Wiosna 1905 (Spring of 1905) by Jacek Kaczmarski and his painting prototype, which is the painting by Stanisław Masłowski under the same title. The aim of this analysis is to identify paintings which inspired the poetic text, as well as to demonstrate aspects in terms of which the text develops the visual narrative of Masłowski’s work, and how the proximity between painting and poetic imagery is revealed.
