The aim of the article is to present the importance of SME sector in Finland over the last several years. The performance of the sector is featured (SBA profile – Small Business Act) in comparison to other European Union countries. Moreover, the impact of the crisis on Finnish SME sector is described, as well as the issues of innovativeness. |

Artykuł prezentuje znaczenie Sektora Małych i Średnich Przedsiębiorstw w Finlandii na przestrzeni lat na podstawie przeglądu literatury. Przedstawiono wyniki tego sektora (jego profil SBA – Small Business Act) na tle innych krajów Unii Europejskiej. W dalszej części artykułu uwagę poświęcono wpływowi kryzysu na MŚP w Finlandii. W opracowaniu poruszono również zagadnienia związane z innowacyjnością w tym sektorze. |
