Abstrakt:
Citizens from Torun among Members of Cathedral Chapter in Culmsee (Chełmża) till 1466 (Summary) Clergyman from Thorn assumed canons in all of Prussian chapter cathedral. The subject of this article is group of twelve clergyman from Thorn, which could found as a results of working on chapter in Chelmza. This clergyman belonged to the most important members of whole corporation appeared in chapter panel in years 1275-1457. Among recognized clergyman distinguish group from urban participate and also group with university education. About position clergyman from Thorn rendered frequent appointed theirs on prelature. High chapter dignity included in analysed period eight of them. Three of them to achieve provostry, also three of them decanate and custody. In twos was cantors and scholastics. Besides some of them to take up even several prelature. As canons appointed on other important sacred person like official. Some of them one’s high dignity in monastic state obtained before mounted to chapter cathedral. Part of them come from entourage Teutonic Order master’s, part of them performed as writers and public notary and passed for intellectual elite.
