Abstrakt:
This article reconstructs and reinterprets the unique qualitative research conducted by Wanda Szuman, an educator and andragogue specializing in special needs education from Toruń. In her research, she dealt with the development and functioning of two Polish boys defined as ‘feral children’. The author carried out the case study and action research of the children living near Włocławek in Poland, who were confined by their parents and then taken away from them in 1954.
