Abstrakt:
The aim of the study was to analyze the diversity of some soil properties in Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) stands in southwest Poland. In the past, Scots pine was introduced on forest sites that were originally covered by broad-leaved tree species. The analyzed soils are characterized by relatively high diversity of the investigated properties that concerns also sandy soils even of similar soil texture. It offers a good opportunity to categorize the analyzed soils for silviculture purposes, also in aspect of pine stands’ selection for converting into mixed forests.
