Abstract

The article cites different voices in the debate on the slaughter of farm animals without stunning (so-called ritual slaughter): position of the Episcopate, Polish political scene (including Civic Platform and Polish People’s Party, United Poland, Palikot’s Movement, Democratic Left Alliance), Polish authorities, results of opinion polls, and the statements of representatives of the Jewish and Muslim communities in Poland.
