Abstrakt:
Interpretative paradigms and the birth of post-avant-garde literary studies
The article’s first section discusses a scheme of the major interpretative paradigms in literary studies, each having its central interpretative situation element remarked (based upon the author-text-interpreter interdependence); analysis of this particular element is supposed to be responsible for a successful interpretation. Section two briefly characterizes each of the paradigms, with the resulting conclusions regarding the major evolutional directions in literary-studies interpretative approaches. The final section presents the arguments in support of the statement whereby the said evolution is indicative of the fact that literary studies are nowadays put in a situation typical of modern art: the transition from avant-gardism into post-avant-gardism.
