Źródła pochodzenia rezerw walutowych – analiza przepływów międzynarodowych w Polsce pod kątem akumulacji aktywów rezerwowych

Abstract

Celem niniejszego opracowania była identyfikacja źródeł pochodzenia rezerw walutowych dokonana na podstawie analizy statystycznej przepływów międzynarodowych w Polsce w latach 1994-2012. Globalizacja doprowadziła do ogromnych zależności gospodarczych i finansowych na świecie, dała dostęp do nowych rynków, produktów, technologii, ale i źródeł finansowania – stworzyła więc podwaliny pod wzrost tempa rozwoju gospodarczego. Efektem tej coraz intensywniejszej współpracy międzynarodowej jest ciągły i rosnący dopływ walut obcych do gospodarek, głównie walut międzynarodowych, bo to w nich rozlicza się handel zagraniczny, w nich rynki oferują najwięcej możliwości inwestycyjnych i w nich się inwestuje i pożycza kapitał. Napływ walut obcych zaburza wprawdzie wewnętrzną równowagę krajów, warunkuje dziś jednak ich rozwój gospodarczy i zewnętrzną wypłacalność.

The aim of this study is to identify the sources of foreign exchange reserves made on the basis of statistical analysis of international flows in Poland in the years 1994-2012. Globalisation led to huge economic and financial dependences in the world, gave access to new markets, products, technologies and also sources of financing – so it created the base for the increase of economic growth. A constant and growing inflow of foreign exchange is an effect of more and more intensive international cooperation of economies. These international capital flows are mainly denominated in international currencies, because they are the main currencies for clearing accounts in global trade, issue and investment currencies, and the lending currencies in the international markets. On the one hand, international currencies inflows impair the internal stability of economies, but on the other hand, they determine their economic development and external solvency.
